What data we process
We only process data that you give us yourself, for example via the contact form, by e-mail or by phone:
- your name and your e-mail address;
- your phone number, if you provide it;
- what you want to build, when you want to go live and anything else you tell us about your project.
Please do not include sensitive data in your message, such as medical information or your citizen service number (BSN).
Why we use that data
We use your data to respond to your enquiry, schedule an introductory meeting and send you a proposal. We do this because you ask us to (steps prior to entering into a possible contract) and on the basis of our legitimate interest in responding to contact requests.
We do not use your data for newsletters or advertising unless you give separate consent for that.
How the contact form works
When you submit the contact form, your message is sent over a secure connection to our own server, which immediately forwards it as an e-mail to hello@hubs.nl. The website and the server do not store your message in a database; after that, your message exists only in our mailbox.
To prevent abuse and spam, the server briefly uses your IP address to count how many messages arrive from a single address. This happens only in working memory and is not stored.
How long we keep data
We do not keep your data longer than necessary. If your enquiry does not lead to an assignment, we delete your data no later than twelve months after our last contact. If we work together, we keep data for as long as the assignment requires and for as long as the law requires, for example the statutory tax retention obligation for invoices.
Who we share data with
We do not sell your data. We only share it with parties we need in order to do our work, such as our e-mail and hosting providers. We make agreements with them about handling your data with care. Beyond that, we only share data when the law requires us to.
Cookies, analytics and the map
This website does not use tracking or advertising cookies, and no analytics services. Our fonts are hosted on our own server, so your browser does not connect to, for example, Google to load them.
The contact page shows a map from OpenStreetMap. To display it, your browser fetches map images from OpenStreetMap, which makes your IP address visible to them. For more information, see the OpenStreetMap Foundation privacy policy.
Security
We take appropriate measures to protect your data against loss and unauthorised access. The website is loaded over a secure connection (https).
Your rights
You have the right to access your data and to have it corrected or erased. You can also object to its use, have its use restricted or have your data transferred to you or another party. Send your request to hello@hubs.nl; we will respond within one month.
Do you disagree with how we handle your data? Let us know and we will look for a solution together. You also always have the right to lodge a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens).
Changes
We may update this privacy statement, for example if our website or way of working changes. The most recent version is always available on this page.
